Sales Representative
It was a good experience. They asked direct questions. You just need to be yourself. They have a nice store and sell great furniture. I was surprised to sit on a really nice couch that costs $4000!
- What aspects of sales appeal to you, and how do you envision yourself integrating with our company?
- Tell me what you like about sales and how you think you would fit in here.
Sales
Got an email on Thursday about an interview for the next Tuesday or Wednesday. I said Tuesday was fine and asked for a time, but didn't hear back. Sent another email the next day, still no answer. Called Tuesday morning, left a message. Got a text about 10 minutes later asking if I could be there at 1:30, which I confirmed. Showed up early, was told to fill out a paper application because they couldn't find a new one. The manager then said not to worry about the back since they had my online application and resume. Gave him the first page, and we sat on a couch. He asked what I'm doing now and why I want to work at that store instead of others (I said the others are a 1.5-hour drive). He then described the job, downplaying it. Asked me to email him questions, which I did, but he never responded. The whole thing felt like he didn't want to be there.
- What is your current place of employment?
- What is your place of residence?
Sales
This was a sales position. The interviewer was unprofessional and biased. I did not feel the interview was conducted professionally. I did not enjoy the store environment nor did I feel the salary was equal to the experience.
- Why are you the best fit for this job?
