First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at La Petite Academy.
Assistant Director
So there were four interviews in total. It started with a HR phone call, then I spoke with a Director, then a DM, and finally someone from India whose accent I couldn't understand. I thought this was going to be a long-term career opportunity, but it turned out to be the opposite.
- Tell me about your typical questions. Why do you want to work for us?
- What value can you bring to our team?
- How did you get started in this industry?
Director
I was hired first as a shift manager, then promoted to assistant manager two months later, both school-level hires. Four months after that, the divisional VP interviewed me during a school visit for the Director position.
- The VP asked me questions a family would ask me during a tour of the school.
- I also discussed the school's fiscal health.
- I talked about challenges the school faced re enrollment and my plan to address those.
Director
Had a good chat with two of the managers. The place is pretty chill, and I ended up getting hired there. They showed me around the building and introduced me to some of the team.
- Can you describe a time you had to deal with a challenging situation or individual?
