Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LA Fitness.
Sales Associate
Only one interview before hiring. We only contact successful applicants for the interview. Only successful interviews get contacted for hiring, unsuccessful ones don't get a response. The interview had standard questions, nothing out of the ordinary or extremely challenging.
- Can you share an example of a time you provided excellent customer service?
Sales Associate
I met with the manager who was looking for someone for the sales position. I mentioned I had experience in both fitness and sales. He asked me about my specific experiences and then asked me to do a workout with him. I was offered the job right away.
- What is your fitness background?
- What experience do you have in sales?
- Would you demonstrate a workout for me?
Sales Associate
The interview process was really simple, and they made me feel comfortable. I went in and we talked about the job for about 20 minutes. I interviewed with the Regional VP. He just asked me some questions about myself and why I wanted to work for LA Fitness. We had a good connection, and he said I'd be a good fit. I went back the next day, we discussed the pay, and I accepted. Don't be nervous, just go in with a positive attitude and you'll be fine.
- Can you tell me about yourself and what you offer LA Fitness?
- Could you share some details about your previous work experience?
