Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LA Fitness.
Receptionist
The interview process at LA Fitness was straightforward and relaxed. I chatted with the front desk manager, who asked about my experience working with people. It was more like a casual chat than a formal interview.
- Tell me about how you handle interactions with different types of people.
Receptionist
The interview experience was great and I felt comfortable. The manager was lovely and professional, and the response time was quick. I couldn't ask for a better interview. The gym was clean and the coworkers were fun. Such a fun place to work. I can only say good things. Great district manager.

Receptionist
I applied at a computer at the gym. Then 2 days later I got a call to come in for an interview. I arrived and the receptionist greeted me and told me to sit. About 10 minutes later the manager came out, we went to his office, and the interview began. He asked about my experience and what I could bring to the company. He then explained clear-up calls, which are calls to gym clients about paying their bills. Finally, he asked if I had any questions about the company before the interview concluded.
- What would you say is your greatest weakness?
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What experience do you have?
