Front Desk
It started with very simple questions about myself and my time availability. Then went on to why i wanted to work for the company. Then asked about if im comfortable answering calls, interacting with members and doing saftey checks.
- Could you share a bit about yourself?
- How is your availability?
- What makes you want to work here?
Front Desk
I went straight to the LA fitness location I wanted to work at and handed in my resume and cover letter. A couple days later, I rang them up to check in and the hiring manager set up an interview with me. On the interview day, the hiring manager called to push the interview to the next day. When I showed up for my interview, I had to wait an hour before anyone saw me. The interview itself went pretty well. She asked really standard interview questions like, "Tell me four words that describe you" and "What's your biggest weakness?" She seemed to really like me and said she'd call me by the end of the week. She never called, so I followed up the next week. Turns out, the hiring manager had the flu, and I was told to call back later that week. When I did, she explained what happened and said she'd call me once she finished interviewing all the people she needed to. She never called back, and I wasn't interested anymore.
- Can you provide four adjectives that describe you?
- What do you consider your weakness?
Front Desk
We walked around the gym and the OM asked me about my personal life, my interest in fitness, and why I'd like to work at a gym. They also asked about my willingness to work certain hours and my overall availability. Afterwards, we sat down at a desk and the OM asked me a variety of questions regarding my skills and my interest in the company.
- What's your reason for wanting to work at La Fitness?
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- What's the minimum monthly income you need to live comfortably?
