So, the whole thing kicked off with a recruiter chat to go over my skills and the job details, and then they set up the interview with LTTS. They actually wanted me to show a government ID, which they took a picture of, something that wasn't mentioned before. The actual interview was supposed to be an hour long, on Microsoft Teams. They sent this message saying to be on time, join 5 mins early, and have the camera on. But, the interviewer logged in 10 mins late, saying they were finishing another call, so we lost about 15 mins of the hour. That felt kinda off, especially since we had to be on time. Then, right at the start, they asked me to show my ID and share my screen for a picture, which was a total surprise since it wasn't in any of the emails. They were also late, which feels like a slap in the face when they expect us to be early and on camera. They mentioned that people from product companies might not find this whole setup useful. After it was all done, there was zero follow-up, no reply to emails, nothing. Even the recruiter said the team wasn't getting back to her, which is just bad communication. Honestly, the way they handled this whole thing makes me worried about how they'll handle my ID and personal info, especially since they didn't tell me about the ID requirement upfront and then ghosted me.

I had a really bad time interviewing with L&T. After several interview rounds, they gave me an offer, and I asked for a little more money. I told them what I was making and didn't ask for anything crazy. But then, they told me I had to quit my job right away after I accepted. Two days later, they took back the offer because they said my salary expectations were too high. This was after they made me quit my job. It was so unprofessional and unorganized. They put me in a tough spot where I had to start looking for a job all over again. Not only did they waste my time with their long interview process, but their dishonest hiring tactics could have left me with no job at all if I wasn't careful. Making people quit their jobs and then pulling the offer last minute is not okay and shows they don't care about the candidate. I get that not all companies can meet every expectation, but the terrible management and lack of professionalism from L&T's hiring team was unbelievable. They seem like a company you can't trust or rely on for employment. Job seekers, be careful not to go through the trouble and potential career damage of interviewing with L&T. There are much better companies that actually value candidates and hire fairly.
