First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at L&T Technology Services.
Associate Engineer
So the LTTS interview is like this: first you do an online test with aptitude, some technical MCQs, and a coding question. Then there's a technical interview where they ask about DSA, OOPs, and stuff specific to the job. After that, an HR interview covers behavioral things, salary, and if you can relocate. For some jobs, they might also do a managerial round or a group discussion.
- Tell me about your final year project.
Associate Engineer
The interview wasn't too tough, actually pretty easy, someone with basic to medium knowledge could handle it. One thing though, they have this 3-year bond for freshers with a 200k rupees penalty, which isn't great.
- Can you tell me about object-oriented programming?
- Do you know SQL?
- How about Java?
Associate Engineer
The interview experience at LTTS was quite thorough, with several steps to check my tech skills, project work, and personal qualities. It started with an initial screening where I had to introduce myself and talk about my education, skills, and fit for the job. Then came a technical round focusing on my major project – they wanted to know the technical details, any issues I ran into, and how I solved them, to see how good I am at problem-solving and tech. Sometimes there's also a technical assessment, which might mean doing some coding or a case study. The HR round was important too; they asked about my family, my career goals, if I'd move, and how I'd help the company, checking my people skills and if I'd fit in.
- Could you describe the image preprocessing method you utilized in your major project?
