First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at L&T Technology Services.
Embedded Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward and well-organized. The technical interviews really matched what the job is about. The interviewers knew their stuff and let me talk a lot about my past projects. To get ready, they suggest knowing C, microcontrollers, Linux, and debugging really well.
- Can you tell me about your experience with C programming?
- What is your understanding of Linux?
Embedded Engineer
There were basically two big interviews. First was with the recruiter. Second was with 3 people. Two had similar positions and at least 3 years experience. The third person was the manager. They asked basic questions about what I know, a technical interview, and what I like. They also asked questions about programming languages and how they differ from each other. Then, the final interview was with the hiring manager, who wanted to know how interested I was in the company. Lastly, the HR person gave me the offer.
- Can you explain the differences between the C and C++ programming languages?
Embedded Software Engineer
The first interview was a technical discussion where I was asked to explain a project I worked on and any issues I faced. This interview was very short, only about 10 minutes. The second round happened within a week. The panel didn't seem prepared, with two members asking each other who should start. One panel member left midway and didn't ask any questions. They then asked very basic questions.
- Can you explain CAN SM and CAN NM?
- What warning have you resolved in static analysis?
- Regarding UDS, what is service 0x29?
