I applied for the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) digitization role through my college. The first step was an online assessment, which had an easy aptitude section and two easy coding questions. Students who passed this were supposed to have interviews in two rounds. The first round was like a personal interview and mostly a CV grilling. I made it to the second round, but then 30 minutes later they said I wasn't shortlisted for it. My CV was for a Data profile, but the job was for a software engineer trainee. The second round was meant to be a technical plus HR round. My advice: make sure you're ready to talk about everything on your CV. Also, brush up on OOPS. If you're good at development, you should be okay.

The first round was a group discussion. After that, there was a technical interview that focused on SQL and Java. They first asked me about my project and resume. Then, they asked questions related to Java, but I wasn't proficient enough to answer them.

So, it was a pretty standard interview process. We had a panel of 2 people from the company and 1 HR person. They started with a presentation about the company. Then, I'm not entirely sure if there was an Online Assessment, but based on some criteria, we were selected for a Group Discussion (GD). The GD topic was about online education versus traditional education. I think I did really well in that. After the GD, we had the main interview. The interviewer asked a lot of questions to check my understanding of 'data' concepts, my CET percentile, and we had a general chat, and that was pretty much it.
