The initial chat was very pleasant and flowed well, with an interesting exchange of ideas. It was conducted virtually via video call. This was followed by an in-person meeting at an office building. The interviewers were very professional, and they explained the role and the company's values to me.

It was super casual! The manager was very nice and kind! She asked basic questions, like why I wanted to work there. She also gave me insight about the job and told me she would call me with the results.

Applied through Indeed/Company Website. Called to follow up and the manager seemed SO happy because I actually followed up and she was excited to speak to me so she scheduled a zoom interview within the next couple of days. Things went amazing. Next step was a zoom interview with the regional. I scheduled my zoom interview with the regional a few days after my surgery, keep in mind I wanted this job SO bad bc I wasn’t even supposed to be out of bed doing anything while on medication but I wanted to attend this interview in hopes of getting it. I thought it went well, especially bc the regional said to call the store manager back and then we can get started on a background check so I assumed I somewhat got the position. Said for me that if I don’t hear back by Saturday then to call. The weekend passed and I didn’t want to call on a weekend obviously bc that’s when retailers are most busy, so I called Monday. Was told they were seeking other candidates.
