Case Behavioral Presentation

We had two case interviews, each lasting 45 minutes. They verbally gave us the info, but no exhibits. Before and after the cases, they asked some behavioral questions like 'tell me about yourself,' 'why LEK,' 'why consulting,' and a couple of 'Tell me About a Time' questions.

Behavioral Case Group

It's usually 3 rounds. Round 1 is HR, asking about your interest in consulting, why not finance, and specifically why LEK. They'll also ask about company culture and your fit. It ends with a 5-min guesstimate. Round 2 is more HR and case solving, but the cases aren't standard like profitability or market entry, they're different. This one's 30-45 mins. The last round is all about whether you're workable for the company. If you don't mess up badly, you'll likely get an offer.

Case Behavioral

Applied via a university recruiter. The first round had two 30-minute case interviews (market sizing and break-even analysis) with an associate and a consultant. There were also very basic behavioral questions. The second and final round involved three 30-minute case interviews, all with partners or a manager. These cases were simpler than the first round, with more math calculations and more general business strategy brainstorming. More time was dedicated to introductions and behavioral questions. I felt I performed well on the cases and with the interviewers, but ultimately did not receive an offer.
