So the interview started with HR asking me about my strengths, weaknesses, and what I see myself doing in the future. Then we talked about my past projects, going into what we aimed to do, the tech stack I used, any hurdles I ran into, and how I made things better. It was a good chat, felt pretty informative and it actually made me feel more confident.
- Can you provide details about your projects?
- Could you elaborate on basic English comprehension?
Infrastructure Specialist
So the hiring process for this role involved a few steps. First, there was an AON Assessment, which was an online test. It was short, only 10 minutes, and had parts for Fluency, Vocabulary, and Spelling, with unlimited questions but strict time limits for each section. They mentioned negative marking, so it was better to skip questions you didn't know using the '?' option. Speed and accuracy were key. After that, I had a Group Discussion (GD) with about 20-30 other candidates. We were given a topic related to current tech, and everyone got one shot to speak. Following the discussion, they asked about the programming language we felt most skilled in. Then, for the shortlisted folks, there was a coding test with two problems: one on file operations and another on finding the max element in an array. The next step was a Technical Interview at the office. This involved a self-introduction, some basic questions about cloud computing, and a deeper dive into projects I'd worked on. Finally, there was an HR Round for general questions about my background, what I expect, and if I'd be a good fit for the role. Unfortunately, I didn't get the offer after this last stage.
- Can you provide details about your projects?
- Could you explain basic cloud computing concepts?
- What are your thoughts on file operations?
