First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kura.
Customer Service Advisor
It was a simple interview. I had a video call with recruitment for a screening. It was straightforward, nothing tricky. They were friendly and easy to talk to. They gave me feedback on the call about whether I was progressing to the next stage of the employment process and with which training group.
- Can you discuss your general employment history and previous roles?
Customer Service Advisor
I started by filling out an online form. The next day, I got a call where they asked about my CV and my reasons for leaving my current job. It felt like a phone interview, even though they called it something else. Then, a few days later, I had a 40-minute interview that involved a thorough review of my CV and some typical questions like 'why Kura?' and 'why this role?', plus competency questions such as 'tell me about a time you had to meet a target.' I was supposed to have a face-to-face interview, but I decided not to go because of negative reviews about the company.
- Can you describe an instance of providing great customer service?
Customer Service Advisor
The interview process took about 2 hours and was in a group setting. Afterward, I was taken aside individually for a role-play scenario. They also asked me to share an instance where I dealt with a difficult customer. It was an easy enough interview if you've worked in customer service before.
- Can you share an example of a time you handled a difficult customer?
- Have you previously worked in a customer service role?
