Behavioral Technical Presentation

I got an email more than a month after the deadline to do a Skype interview that same week. They said an HR person would be there, but then said she was sick, so it was just the professor and a student. They told me I was the first of five people they'd interview and would decide on in-person interviews in 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks, no word. I emailed the professor twice, a week apart, and he ignored them. I called him 5 weeks after the interview. He said he was on vacation for two weeks and had already picked other candidates, so I was basically rejected. Worst and longest application experience ever. So much disregard and lack of consideration.
