Student Ambassador
The interview process was pretty chill, just one interview. They asked me about my past experiences that would be relevant to this job and why I wanted to take it on. I shared how student ambassadors helped me when I was a new student and that I'd want to provide that same support.

Amanuensis
The team lead interviewed me. They explained the role and then asked me about my previous experience and what I could contribute to the project. There were also some general questions and behavioral questions.

Project Student
The interview process can vary a lot depending on the company and the specific role. But, a typical interview process for an internship at a biotech company like Bosque Foods might include these steps: 1. Application Submission Resume and Cover Letter: You'd submit your resume and cover letter through the company’s job portal or by email. Make sure to tailor your cover letter to really show off your skills, experience, and why you're interested in the role.
- Could you state your full name?
PhD Student
I got an email more than a month after the deadline to do a Skype interview that same week. They said an HR person would be there, but then said she was sick, so it was just the professor and a student. They told me I was the first of five people they'd interview and would decide on in-person interviews in 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks, no word. I emailed the professor twice, a week apart, and he ignored them. I called him 5 weeks after the interview. He said he was on vacation for two weeks and had already picked other candidates, so I was basically rejected. Worst and longest application experience ever. So much disregard and lack of consideration.
- What practical lab experience do you have?
- What knowledge do you have of microbial based processes?
- Are you familiar with Metabolic Flux Analysis?
