Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KTGY.
Intern
the interview process was honestly kind of harsh. They analyzed too much and seemed like they were speaking to you to tell the flaws rather than learning about you. They are looking for the perfect candidate rather than someone who is willing to learn and grow
- Analyze portfolio and critique portfolio
Intern
The interview was online which was convenient. The only hiccup was poor Wi-Fi causing disconnections, but it was a good experience overall. I spoke with 3 interviewers, 2 of whom were engaged while one seemed distracted by emails. They had good tech, and presenting my portfolio via video call was easy. The entire process was fast, and I received my offer quickly. They were also very responsive to my emails.
- Could you explain your motivation for wanting to join our company?
Intern
It was a pretty standard interview, mostly conversational. They asked about my background, my interests, my portfolio, and my experience. The whole vibe was pretty chill and friendly, probably because it's an internship role.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What software are you proficient in?
- What kind of architecture are you interested in working with?
