Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Krones.
Intern
The interview process was very professional, and they asked core questions related to the position. They also inquired about my experience with CAD and tested my German language skills.
- Do you have any experience with FEM?
- Tell me about your experience with CAD.
- How are your German skills?
Controlling Intern
The interview started with introductions of the interviewers from HR and the department. Then I introduced myself and explained my role. We discussed the tasks involved. There was an opportunity to ask questions at any time. Finally, the next steps, like the feedback deadline and start date, were explained. Overall, it was a very pleasant and friendly conversation held at eye level. There were hardly any technical questions.
- What is the difference between the total cost and sales cost methods?
Intern
After a brief wait in the impressive reception area, I was called into an adjacent office for the interview. First, another intern (HR Management) interviewed me. After about 10 minutes, she left and handed me over to the actual decision-makers. The subsequent "real" job interview was very pleasant and without much pressure. By far one of my most pleasant interviews.
- What do you think Krones produces?
- What tasks do you think await you?
- What is the task of the department you applied to? Can you describe this briefly?
