Interviewed with the head Pharmacist. It was a casual environment. We talked about the certificates and classes that are needed. The job duties were described and I was reminded that this job requires drug testing at the Federal Level.

First, I met with the PPC. Then, we discussed my strengths and weaknesses, as well as situational questions. We also talked about how I handle the workflow, my learning behaviors, and how I lead a team. After the interview was complete, I just waited on an offer from the company.

It was a really simple process. If you're looking to join a union and get regular raises, this is a good place to apply. The starting pay is $16 an hour. You might find yourself seriously understaffed, having to juggle a lot of tasks. This includes unpacking delivery totes, taking incoming calls, handling the drive-thru, dispensing medication, accepting drop-off scripts, and giving out prescriptions at the front desk. Imagine doing all of this with just you, one other tech, and the pharmacist while customers have problems or are upset about the wait time, so you're already dealing with attitude. If you can handle all of that, you'll be fine.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Describe how you handle customer service, especially with angry customers, while remaining calm and polite.
