The interview process was very straight forward. First there was a phone interview that went through my resume. After that, I was called in for a one-on-one meeting. The manager and tech-lead interviewed me. They were both very friendly and funny. They explained to me what are the projects that they work on. Then they asked me why I chose my major and how I would picture myself in 5 years.

It was pretty straightforward, just two rounds. First was a screening, and then the second was an onsite that lasted about an hour. The interview itself was pretty relaxed, kind of went with the flow. They asked a mix of things about projects I've worked on, technical stuff like what programming tools I use for analysis, and then questions about improving the business, strategies, or initiatives I'd taken to keep metrics up to standard.

After applying they called and asked me to come in for an interview. I met with a manager and team members. Kroger asks a lot of behavioral questions so prepare for those. Make sure to research the area you're applying for (i.e. If it's a job in the Finance department you should know how the stock is performing and skim through some recent financial statements that are publicly available on thekrogerco.com).
