First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Krispy Kreme.
Manager
The interview process involved asking for examples of past situations and how they were handled, as well as questions about previous experience. It was a straightforward conversation with the hiring manager and no one else from HR was involved before an offer was extended.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered and resolved a problem?
Consumer Insights Manager
An internal recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn about a Consumer Insights position. The job was listed as hybrid, and even though I told them I wasn't local and wouldn't move, they still moved forward. I ended up having five Zoom interviews over two weeks with progressively more senior people. They were all pretty relaxed and informal chats. There were no projects or tests. After the fifth interview, which was supposed to be the last, I heard nothing back for six months. I later found out they hired someone who lived closer to the office, so it felt like a total waste of time. How do you ghost someone after five interviews?
- Are you comfortable with analytics?
Assistant Manager
The interview was in-person. It seemed like they prefer to rely on assistants instead of actual management. I was informed that the current assistant manager was working 60 hours last week, which is quite a lot. The interview itself was not difficult, with not many questions about my background and experience, but more casual conversation about customer service roles.
