The interviewers felt pretty cold and didn't make me feel comfortable or encourage talking about what interests me. They used coded language about company culture that suggested an unhealthy, competitive environment. The first interview was standard: I just answered questions as they popped up on a screen via video recording. After that, I was interviewed separately by two different employees.

So first, there was a Skype interview with a Marketing Director. They asked standardized questions to everyone, covering general experience and asking for examples of when I've done certain things. Next, I had to complete an online skills test covering numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning, which felt pretty standard for FMCG companies. Finally, I went to an assessment center. This included a group exercise to see how we interacted, a case study with a presentation to address issues, and then a face-to-face interview with HR and someone from Marketing. This last interview was similar to the Skype one but also dug into why I applied to this company and location.

I applied for the European Corporate Management Traineeship, but they offered me a Marketing Position instead. I was interested but wasn't sure if it was a full-time job or an internship. I had a phone interview with the Marketing Manager. It was a nice chat, but the questions felt old-fashioned and like they were just reading from a script. Some questions were also quite vague. Make sure to use the STAR method for your answers and be really specific.
