The application process includes a personality and language skills test. After completing these two tests, you will be invited for an interview with two KPN employees (at least one senior employee). During the interview, you will be asked why you chose KPN and you will have to answer questions using the STAR method.

Lots of conversations, often with multiple people at once, and it wasn't always clear why you were speaking with them. Feedback from the interviews takes a long time, and there's a fair bit of time between them. There's a clear cultural difference between "new" KPN employees and career KPN employees. Very professional though. If you're looking for a stable, comfortable organization and enjoy internal meetings, this might be your place. If you're looking for entrepreneurship, speed, and dynamism, you shouldn't be here.

Behavioral Presentation

I had an interview at the temp agency who then prepared me with the information I could expect, and they also went through the code of conduct extensively. After I had gone through all of that, you can imagine I was quite nervous. My application went fine with my manager (I thought), the nerves were gone and then I was told that the person in question (John manager Maastricht) was not my manager, but that my manager was on vacation. In short, I had to do my application again with my manager, the nerves started all over again. I knew what to expect this time though, so this time also went very well for me. In fact, I was able to start at KPN 2 weeks earlier than initially planned.
