Graduate Trainee
I felt the interview went well, however, I did not receive an offer. The interviewers were nice and respected the allocated time. I believe one has a better chance if they have the background the company is looking for.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
Tax Graduate
It was a streamlined process and it was clear what was going on at each stage. There were 5 stages: online assessments, then more online assessments, followed by video responses, then a virtual assessment centre, and finally an interview with someone likely a Director or Senior Manager from your specific line of work (though their particular sub-division wasn't relevant to my application).
- Why are you interested in this role/company?
- What knowledge do you possess regarding the required examinations?

The KPMG online assessment is a timed evaluation with numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning sections, plus a situational judgment test (SJT) that checks your alignment with KPMG's values. It might also include a personality test. This assessment usually takes about 60-90 minutes and is done on platforms like SHL or Korn Ferry. You'll need to interpret data and read critically under pressure for the numerical and verbal parts. The logical reasoning section is about spotting patterns, and the SJT asks you to make decisions based on company values. If you're applying for technical roles, expect some coding or data analysis questions. They don't give feedback, but practicing with SHL tests and knowing about KPMG's culture helps. If you pass this, you might move on to video interviews or assessment centers.
