First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KOTRA.
Manager
I had one or more interviews. They asked normal questions about my strengths, weaknesses, work style, and what I hope to gain from the company in the future. The company has a vertical culture, not an international one, with Korean bosses focused solely on Korean company revenue. It seems like some people might not grow with the company, like they're just pretending to work.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Associate Manager
The whole process took about 2 months. But this can be different depending on position. Initially, my CV was screened. Then, a written test was conducted. After that, the 1st interview was conducted, followed by the 2nd interview, which was the final one.
- Why are you interested in this role?
- Can you describe your strengths and weaknesses?
- Where do you see your career in the future?
Assistant Manager
after submitting and completing online fit test, i was invited to the interview (1 week after submitting CV) The interviewers were relaxed and were curious about my background, experience and language proficiency (english/korea/local language)
- Why did you choose KOTRA?
- Could you explain KOTRA's primary responsibilities?
- Can you tell us about your language skills in English and the local language?
