Software Engineer
So, I interviewed at Kore.ai, and wow, what a mess. It started December 6th, then rounds on the 10th and 16th. They said I was cleared for a December 23rd start, but then pushed it to December 31st. On December 22nd, they told me the position was 'on hold' because the CTO was confused about my employer, which was weird since that confusion was already cleared up. Then, I emailed the CTO directly to clear things up, and he totally freaked out, threatened to fire the recruiter for something the recruiter didn't even do. The whole thing was super disorganized, no one knew what was going on, and my time was completely wasted. After weeks of this circus, they just left me hanging with excuses. It's crazy how a company with an AI product can be so dysfunctional.

Technical Architect
The interview process took about two weeks. It started with two technical rounds and an HR round, which I passed. The HR congratulated me and then went on a long explanation of company values for about 20 minutes. Then, they mentioned a budget constraint, offering only a 10% hike, which was much lower than my expectation of a standard 30% hike. I questioned why my time was wasted if they didn't have the budget. The HR suggested another position in a different project and referred me. A third technical round was conducted, which felt like an intentional rejection round. After this, the HR was silent for over a week. When I followed up, they reiterated the 10% hike offer. I accepted the hike but requested a permanent remote option, which the HR said was possible and promised to confirm by evening. It's been another week with no closure. It feels unethical for companies to lure candidates with the promise of a standard salary and then withdraw due to budget issues. This is a waste of the candidate's time and leaves a bad impression, similar to other experiences shared about Kore.AI. The technical rounds were challenging and enjoyable, but don't get your hopes up even after an HR 'congratulations'.

Conversational Designer
I was interviewed at Kore.ai for the position of Conversation Designer. Interview had about 4 rounds. Cleared all 3 and even attended 4th, they advised me to wait for a 4 days after 4th round and they conveyed that my profile is on hold. No proper feedback on what went wrong. It's for recruiter and company to play with a candidates time and skill for 4 weeks and say "your profile on hold". A proper HR or company should have the decency to say to candidate "the areas and the skills they lacked during interview process" so candidates can work on them for next round.
