Behavioral

The interview was pretty standard with some scripted questions. It felt like they were just going through a list, like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'What’s your biggest weakness?,' and 'Where do you see yourself in five years?' There wasn't much depth or any follow-up questions, just a feeling of checking boxes. The interviewer also seemed really uninterested, not making much eye contact and speaking in a flat tone, like they didn't really care about my answers. It was more of a one-way conversation; they talked a lot and didn't ask for my input, or they'd barely respond, which made it awkward. They didn't mention anything about the company culture or what it's like to work there, which made it feel like they were just trying to fill a spot. They also didn't ask anything about my resume or experience, just skimmed it. There were either long awkward silences or they rushed through everything like they wanted it to be over. And to top it off, the interview ended with a vague 'We'll be in touch,' with no clear next steps or timeline.

Behavioral Technical Case

This was a very behavioral and sales-oriented interview process. They asked questions about my motivation for applying, my career goals, the skills I bring to the table, and my previous sales experience.

Behavioral Technical

I met the district manager by chance after being laid off by The Source (Bell Mobility). I walked into the local TELUS, overheard a manager talking about an interview, introduced myself, and got an interview for the next day. I brought a resume, which he reviewed and asked me some questions about. He asked why I was laid off, explained the job duties and benefits, and then asked me a series of 'What would you do if...' questions. He seemed interested in my success, was easygoing, and not intimidating. I got a call three days later offering me the job.

Behavioral Case

The interview experience was really friendly and enjoyable, from meeting potential colleagues to the very end. The manager made me feel at ease right from the start, which helped calm my nerves and allowed them to get to know the real me. Most of the questions were pretty straightforward sales and general business knowledge.
