It was a group interview with 3 other candidates, and we were all looking to apply for the same job. The interview had two parts: first, an assessment test, and then a one-on-one interview. The assessment involved some pretty straightforward coding problems that we had to solve in a Google Doc they gave us. They also told us not to use any external tools like IDEs or compilers to write our code.

It started with a 30-minute call that touched on some technical aspects and my background. After that, there was a take-home assignment that could take 5-10 hours or more, depending on experience. Finally, a 4-hour interview, but it wasn't the typical technical interview you find in general software engineering roles. The people were nice, and I got quick responses.

  • Discuss general game design concepts.
  • How would you go about measuring user churn?
