The recruiter was great. Then the next step was to gather my transcripts. It was a strange request since I’m not fresh out of school but I paid and ordered them anyway. I interviewed with two people. I got a very tech bro vibe from them, which was very different from the initial recruiter. They were still nice but asked me multiple times why I want to work there. I’m not sure what kind of answer they were looking for. This process cost me money and I have my uni transcripts sitting around now.

It was easy with basic questions. I'm not sure what went wrong, maybe it was just not an experience fit. There were normal interview questions and sometimes questions to show you’re excited about tech. The recruiter was friendly and chill, pretty willing to strike up a conversation.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a phone interview, and then I had an in-person interview with a project manager and a strategy consultant. I didn't advance to the next round, which honestly was a relief for me. I had a negative feeling about the company even before the interview due to many bad reviews I saw online. It felt like a male-dominated environment, and most people seemed younger than 35. There doesn't seem to be a work-from-home option, and I suspect mentioning I have kids was a deal-breaker, despite my qualifications. So much for workplace diversity!
