So, they told me the job offer requirements wouldn't match what they asked during the interview. The recruiter said it would be a simple intro with just a few tech questions, and maybe a second tech interview if needed. But it ended up being an hour and a half of technical questions.

The company is a mess. They canceled my interview process multiple times. I was interviewed by about 3 managers at different times because they kept changing. I did well in all interviews, I was sharp and had all the necessary qualifications for the job. In the end, the general manager didn't like me and invalidated all the other interviews and tests I had done. Very long process to get nowhere.

Behavioral Technical Coding

Had a prescreening interview with HR. Then a second interview with engineers where they asked some technical questions about C++ and projects I worked on. The technical questions were pretty easy, mostly about standard OOP concepts and STL library features. They also asked some networking questions about TCP and network sockets.

Technical Coding Behavioral Presentation

The entire interview process stretched over two months, almost covering my entire notice period. After the HR interview (which was the 4th round), there was a silence for over two weeks, despite my numerous emails and calls. They requested documents and kept assuring me that a normal approval process was underway and an offer would be extended soon. Then, one evening, just two days before my last working day, they scheduled another interview for a new team, framing it as a mere formality and introduction, explicitly stating there would be no rejection and that I would be hired. They promised an offer letter by the end of that day. By this point, I had reached my last working day and was about to decline other offers. However, instead of an offer letter, I received a regret email. Had they indicated the possibility of rejection earlier, I would have been mentally prepared. The HR team consistently provided misleading information throughout, lacking any transparency. They are untrustworthy and unethical; do not believe them.
