First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Konami Gaming, Inc..
Senior Software Engineer
It was a really long talk. They were looking for someone skilled in both C# and C++, but it seemed they weren't really focused on C# and wanted developers to keep working on older systems. I asked about work-life balance, and they just brushed over the question. Honestly, it doesn't seem like a place I'd want to work.
- Some general questions about C++ were asked.
- Do you know C#?
- Do you know Unity?
Software Engineer
The interview process felt pretty standard, like they had a list of questions prepared. Nothing too tricky. I almost didn't take the job because of bad Glassdoor reviews, but my actual experience with the interviewers was good. They seemed to pay attention to what I said. The job description was spot on, no surprises.
- Questions focused on C++ programming.
- Questions included design patterns.
- Questions covered general software engineering.

There were two rounds of interviews. The first one was basically a chat about my past experiences and some technical stuff related to the role, finishing with a straightforward coding problem. The second interview was more focused on technical aspects, with a stronger emphasis on coding challenges.

- Can you answer debugging questions?
