Sales Manager
Went through 4 rounds. First HR, then someone not from the company. Got a "Thanks, but no thanks" email by mistake. Reached out, HR apologized (was on PTO), said it wasn't meant for me. Then interviewed with Hiring Manager. After that, did an hour-long product demo with HM and outside recruiter. Then silence for 3 weeks, despite checking in. Finally got the same "Thanks, but no thanks" email again. 4 rounds over a month and no proper closing communication.

Sales Manager
Started with a phone chat with HR to go over my resume and career aspirations. Then, I had an in-person meeting with four different people, each for about 30 minutes. I talked to my potential future manager, someone currently in a sales role, and a sales analyst. Lastly, I had another chat with HR.
- What makes you want to work in sales?
Sales Manager
The hiring process lasted 4 weeks. It started with a LinkedIn outreach and a 45-minute phone call with HR. Next, I had to get ready to present a social media website to the VP of Sales & Marketing, aiming to convince them to purchase it. After meeting the VP, I was invited for an in-person interview at their office in Chinatown. The offer came about two weeks after that.
- What is your motivation for pursuing a career in sales?
- What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
