Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KnowBe4.
Sales Representative
It was a pretty standard interview process, nothing really out of the ordinary. Felt very by-the-book and included a checkbox type of exercise. I'm not sure if everyone went through the exact same thing. Nothing particularly memorable. It seemed like they had a large number of candidates to get through.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What led to your departure from your previous employer?
Sales
So I applied through Glassdoor and HR reached out to schedule a phone interview. It was pretty quick but they gave me a good overview. Then, I had an in-person interview at their office downtown in Clearwater. Most of it was with the HR director and the Expansion Director, who were both super nice. We talked a lot about the sales role, what they expect from an Account Manager, and they showed me around the office. The last part was taking an online test for aptitude, personality, and IQ. They also asked for more references from my past jobs. I got the offer after finishing the online tests and once HR confirmed with my references.
- Tell me about your past success in meeting sales quotas.
- What are your salary expectations?
Sales
It was a pretty standard interview process. First, I had a quick chat with the Director, who told me about the company and the role. Then, they set up an in-person interview for three days later. I was invited to dress business casual and met with the HR Manager and the Expansion Director. After talking with them, I got to meet the VP of Sales. Everyone was really engaged and answered all my questions about the company and the job. After those meetings, I got a tour of the office and was introduced to the CEO, Stu, who was super easy to talk to. I also had to take a personality and IQ test within 48 hours. The actual interview part took about 35-45 minutes, and the office tour was around 15 minutes.
