The interview process was pretty straightforward. First, I chatted with HR, who was really nice and made me feel comfortable. She explained what to expect next and even said I could reach out with any questions via call, text, or email, which was pretty cool. After that, I had a Zoom meeting with the department head, who was also very personable and easy to talk to. Overall, it was a pretty easy process, and they kept me updated the whole time.

Case Presentation

I only made it to the first role play and then got an email saying they weren't moving forward. I have years of sales experience and I'm sure I'm above average at qualifying a lead, and I'm being modest. In my opinion, Knowbe4 wants candidates to spend a lot of time researching their company, solution, and pricing before doing a role play with a pre-set scenario. The feedback received is as though you worked for the company for years and should know everything about the solution. You are graded on a non-disclosed point system. If a company gives feedback right after your role play, they are keeping score. But that's okay – I believe we can always improve. It took me a month after sending my resume to hear back, then another week for the first interview, and another week for the sales role play. The people are really nice, friendly, and engaging. Honestly, I probably would have declined the next round of role play just because their hiring process is too long – I don't want a 2-month hiring process only to not be offered the job. This is an entry-level sales position with a month of training after hiring. If you want the job, learn all you can about the company, products, and read their case studies before you role play.

Behavioral Technical Other

I had an initial chat with the recruiter, then I was asked to complete an aptitude test and a cognitive reasoning test. After passing those, I was invited for an in-person meeting at the office in Clearwater. The F2F meeting happened after a tour of the offices, which are nice but very open. Lots of employees were dressed very casually, like they just came from the beach. The company seems very results-driven, sometimes it feels like it's at the expense of the clients. Some of my friends who work there confirmed this. Some comments from the interviewers made me feel uncomfortable, and I have extensive sales experience, 20+ years. My advice is to stay away from this company or be very careful if you decide to proceed.
