It was a pretty easy interview. First, there was a screening interview where they asked about my availability, the position I applied for, and other basic stuff. Then, we had a group interview with a few other people applying for the job. We did some activities to get to know each other and to see how we work with others. Each of us picked a card with a word on it, like 'friendliness' or 'communication,' and explained why we picked it. After that, we worked together to solve a written scenario about a customer.

The interview process was pretty simple and easy. I went in for my in-person screening interview and waited about 10 minutes. In the first interview, I was asked 3 questions like a normal interview. Then, about 40 minutes later, I had a group interview. It sounds intimidating, but it was actually fun. They started with an icebreaker, then did 2 more group activities. I was in a group of 4, and we were all going for different positions, so it was cooperative, not competitive. I showed initiative, leadership, and that I'm sociable. A big tip is to chat with others who are waiting with papers for processing; they often share interview insights and hiring tips.

The first interview is a screening to see if you fit the look for a job at Knott's. The main interview is a group interview that lasts about 30 minutes. They ask common questions like 'what is your greatest weakness and how can you improve upon it?'. They tell you if you are hired at the end, but I rated this low because they take 8 weeks for a background check, which is too long.
