First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Knight Frank.
Graduate Trainee
So I had an online interview for the first round. It was pretty quick, only 6 mins, and they asked me three questions. It was mainly about why I'm interested in this industry and specifically Knight Frank, and then a question about green technology.
- Could you explain your interest in this particular industry?
- What attracts you to Knight Frank?
- How do you envision incorporating green technology?
Graduate Scheme
So the interview process at Knight Frank was pretty structured and had a few steps. First, I had to do an online application where I sent in my CV and cover letter. Then came some online psychometric tests, testing my numerical and verbal reasoning. After that, I was invited to an assessment centre. There, we did group exercises, I gave a presentation on a property trend, and had a face-to-face interview. The very last step was a one-on-one interview with some senior management people. It was quite a tough process overall, but it was a good chance to show what I can do and find out more about the company.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Knight Frank?
- What would be your course of action if a client expresses dissatisfaction with your proposed solutions?
- Describe a time you had to manage a conflict within a team.
Graduate Trainee
Got the interview set up by email and it took them 5 weeks to get back. No confirmation call. The interview itself was pretty detailed about the job. They talked about the rotation and career progression, but the plans weren't solid, more like guesses on timelines. The program structure was a bit unclear too. Didn't get info on the pay. The culture seemed open, with a flat corporate hierarchy, but digging into departments showed a more complex chain of command. They let me know I didn't get the job 7 weeks later.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
