I applied online and then got a call about 3 weeks later for an interview. They were pretty open about what entry-level job I was interested in. I asked about growth, promotion, and pay increases after a year of good work, and they said it was store-determined and they couldn't say. I mentioned I had researched the company and that all entry-level jobs were $7.25/hr. I was upfront and said I could get similar jobs for $8.00-$8.50/hr at a temp agency nearby. They didn't negotiate, so I thanked them and left.
