It was a two-step process. First, a screening call. Second, a meeting with the Director. They asked standard questions, using the STAR method. I didn't get to the second round because my skills were a bit different; I use Adobe and they use Figma. They apparently think my skills won't transfer. I thought I had a better chance based on how it went.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process kicked off with an HR screen to check personality and technical fit. Next, there was a chat with a senior team member or the hiring manager, which felt like a casual conversation covering cultural and technical aspects. The final round was a case study interview. They'll give you a made-up project and see how you'd handle it as a PM, focusing on your overall approach rather than getting into super fine details. It's a good idea to refresh your memory on core PM concepts like timelines, scope, and budgets before you interview.

Behavioral Case Presentation

A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and we had a phone chat that went well. Next, I had an in-person coffee chat at the agency, which felt a bit intense. The interview started during our walk and it was quite cold. I then moved on to a case study, which was supposed to be 90 minutes. I got a 5-page brief but only had 15 minutes to create a budget and timeline.
