It was a relaxed, low-pressure interview. I met most of the team, and they were really interested in how I'd fit into the culture. Overall, it was pretty straightforward. The whole process was super fast, and they made a decision and extended an offer really quickly.

The interview process at Klick was disorganized and unnecessarily long. I ended up having 6 interviews for a Sr. Art Director role, but the first three were for a Designer role, which I hadn't applied for or expressed interest in. They confirmed they'd discuss the Sr. Art Director role beforehand, which caught me off guard and felt like I was being lied to. Even though I enjoyed meeting the team, the process felt off. Each of the 6 interviews lasted about an hour, not including 3 separate interviews from the year before, making it a total of 9 interviews. At the end, they stated they couldn't meet my salary expectations for the Sr. Art Director role because someone else asked for 85k, despite knowing my requirements beforehand and Art Director roles making 80k and Sr. Art Director roles in the US making 100k. They wanted me to relocate to NYC for 85k, when those roles typically pay 120-140k. I strongly advise against interviewing with this company; it wasn't worth my time. They had positive feedback on my candidacy, then put me through 6 rounds, interviewed me for a role I didn't want, and then tried to underpay me for a relocation. Stay professional and be aware when a company tries to undercut you.

The interview process was pretty chill and everyone was nice, but the recruiter only asked for my resume after the meeting and didn't really seem to know what I'd be doing day-to-day in the role. It was a bit awkward, but they were clear about wanting to fill the position.
