The interview process started with a round with the EA operations team, who are the direct managers for EAs. Then, the second round involved meeting with each of the executives the EA would be supporting.

I had an interview scheduled with two Execs on the Legal and Compliance team for KKR Credit Advisors. It was the most unprofessional interview I've ever experienced. Right off the bat, the first executive, let's call her "E", claimed she was feeling under the weather, so she would be off camera. That's awkward, but I resumed as normal. I then asked her about the role, in which she went on to tell me that they were looking to replace the current EA who was on a performance improvement plan. Not only did she name drop, but she went into detail about her mistakes. I happened to actually have mutual friends with the named EA. I just didn't get a good impression based on her complaints and oversharing about her. Immediately after our call, I had another scheduled zoom interview with the other exec. It was canceled within seconds after my call with E due to "something that came up". It was never rescheduled, and I never heard back. The process was just unlike anything I've gone through, and made me think of KKR differently. I definitely would not want to support someone who thinks less of others and is disrespectful.
