Recruiter
First, you'll have a phone call with the Business Recruiter. After that, there's an onsite interview with the team that usually lasts about 2 to 3 hours. The team seems really positive, and you can sense their intensity and passion during the interviews.
- Will domain specific questions be asked based on my experience?
Recruiter
A staffing agency sent my resume to Kixeye for two job openings, and then I got a call for a phone interview. It was a quick 15 minutes. First, they asked what I knew about the company, and I was ready with the basics since I'd researched it. Then they asked if I'd played their games. I said yes, talked about what I liked and noticed, and then tried to shift the focus to my skills. After that, they invited me for an in-person interview later that week. The office looked modern and colorful, with a fast-paced but chill vibe. People seemed nice. The interview itself was two hours long, and I met with four different people, one-on-one each time. They all seemed to like their jobs and colleagues, but they also mentioned being overworked and that the company lacked structure on the administrative side.
- Tell me about a time you made a significant mistake and how you rectified it.
- Imagine you realize at 3am that you forgot to inform your boss about an important meeting scheduled for 7am that same day at a downtown cafe. What action do you take?
Technical Recruiter
Kixeye interviewed me for a Technical Recruiter role. The interview process involved three people and lasted two hours. They took a reference without my permission before the interview even happened. It's been almost three weeks and I still haven't heard back from them. It's pathetic, unprofessional, and disrespectful. If it's a no, they should at least follow up and let candidates know. It's just plain rude.
