A company recruiter reached out a week after I applied. First, I had to complete a design challenge that took me a few hours. They gave me some examples and some illustrations, color palettes, and fonts to use. A week after that, I had a Skype interview. It was pretty casual and I was asked about my experience related to the role and some basic questions about how I completed the design challenge. The interviewer seemed really positive about me. I followed up a couple weeks later but never heard back from the recruiter.
