So, I applied online and then got an interview request in less than a week. The whole thing took about 4-6 weeks in April-May, with 5 rounds. First, there was a 30-minute phone screening. Then, a writing assignment. After that, I had two 30-minute Zoom interviews with different department leaders. The fourth round was an in-person thing with a company tour and interviews with various higher-ups and people from related departments. The last step was supposed to be a 30-minute interview with the CEO, but they cancelled it. They said the CEO wanted to rethink the job description, and funny enough, the job was reposted later with the same description, but they added a requirement for a science degree that wasn't there before. The original JD was open to English, writing, literature, social science, education, or child development degrees.

We started with a phone screen, then had an in-person panel interview. After that, there was a take-home assignment, followed by an optional second in-person meeting. The final step was a meeting with the CEO, Sandra, who has the ultimate decision-making power.

The interview process was really messy. I went through about 5 to 7 rounds, and it felt like people didn't talk to each other because multiple interviewers asked me the exact same questions. It also felt like after what seemed like the last interview, they'd hit me with another one. They also had me do two separate work samples, which, looking back, they should have paid me for since it was actual work for them, not some made-up project they couldn't even use.
