I talked to HR first, then had meetings with the director. After that, I met with some project managers. For the most part, they just had me ask them questions. It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard back. I did send a thank you note.

So I went through 4 rounds of interviews, and I actually spoke with some team members twice. It seemed to be going well, but then at the very end, I found out they gave the job to someone already working there. What a waste of my time, I had to take days off work for these extra interviews. I'm pretty sure they had this internal person in mind the whole time and just needed to show they interviewed others on paper. Definitely wouldn't want to work for a company like that. I guess I dodged a bullet!

So first I had a phone interview, it lasted about half an hour. They asked a bunch of basic stuff like "tell me about yourself" and went through my resume line by line. A few behavioral questions came up too, like how I'd handle a conflict with my manager. Then I came in for an in-person interview which was pretty similar. I had to do a proofreading test, which was easy if you know basic grammar and capitalization. The interview itself went for a little over two hours and there were several people there. The questions were mostly basic, similar to the phone interview. They really emphasized the overtime aspect of the job, wanting to make sure whoever they hire is ready for it.
