First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kirkland & Ellis.
Summer Associate
This was my 1L interview process. Since it was for a summer associate role, they asked a lot of basic questions. I met with three attorneys consecutively, and the interviews went pretty well. They were all quite nice and provided a lot of information. I made sure to let my personality show throughout the interviews.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Summer Associate
Pretty simple. I had three 30-minute interviews in total for the job. The recruitment team set up my first interview via email. I first interviewed with 2 partners. Then, I had a callback two days later to interview with 2 more partners, and then an interview with an associate. They got back to me the day after those interviews.

Associate
We'll start with a 20-minute screening call with a partner. If that goes well, you'll have a 2-hour back-to-back interview with four lawyers, who will be associates and partners. After the interviews, they'll make a decision and let you know.
