There were 2 rounds for me. First, I had a nice 30-minute call with the HR recruiting manager, she was super friendly and curious about my experiences. I also got a lot of info about Kinsta and its culture. On the second round (a video call due to the pandemic), I met the CTO, HOD, and my prospective manager. We had a 1.5-hour technical/personal discussion, which was one of my best experiences! Everyone was kind, and we laughed a lot, which isn't ordinary for an interview. I truly enjoyed the whole process and am happy to accept their generous offer to join the Kinsta family!😊

So, the interview process here was super modern and a breath of fresh air. First up was a friendly chat with someone who knew the product well, a standard get-to-know-you kind of thing. Then came the technical interview, which was cool because they didn't do whiteboarding or take-homes. Instead, they just chatted with me about their tech stack and asked some questions to see what I knew. It was a really enjoyable discussion.

The interview process was very straightforward, and judging by the process itself, the team has a very high confidence in who they're hiring. I had two interviews, one general HR meeting to see if you're a culture fit, and secondly with leaders in the Technology department. There was no code review in my case, but rather general questions on prior experience.
