Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at KIND.
Quality Manager
I applied online after seeing a job post on LinkedIn. A few days later, I had a Teams call with a recruiter, and then a week after that, I had an interview also via Teams. The questions were situational and experience-based. I felt it went well. They said I'd hear back in about 1-2 weeks. After two weeks with no word, I emailed for an update because I really wanted this job, but I also had another opportunity moving faster. The recruiter promised an update by that Friday, but it didn't happen. Later, the job was taken down, so I figured it was filled. While the initial interview was fine, I really wish I'd at least gotten a follow-up so I knew where I stood. I'll keep an eye out for future openings, as I've heard great things about the company, but the broken promise of a follow-up was disappointing.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage challenging team members and describe your approach to resolving the situation?
Commercial Manager
The interview process had 2 stages, starting with a screening and then a task followed by an in-person presentation and interview. They were very prompt with responses throughout each stage. The team was welcoming and I never felt intimidated. I would recommend this company despite not receiving the final offer.
- Tell me about your approach to situational analysis.
- Can you walk me through your career history?
Manager
The interview process was really straightforward and took just under 3 weeks from start to finish. They kept me updated throughout. Everyone I met was friendly, accommodating, and professional, and it gave me a good feel for the company culture.
- What draws you to KIND?
- Could you tell me about your key strengths?
- Can you share an example of how you've overcome challenges in a previous role?
