Project Manager
The interview process for this company is degree-focused, which I find to be a bit outdated given that practical experience is crucial and not everyone has the opportunity or desire to attend college. The overall process felt excessively long, and one of the interviewers was quite condescending, possibly due to feeling intimidated. I found her questions to be repetitive and irrelevant, to the point where I felt she might have needed a very basic explanation. The office itself seemed old-fashioned, and this dated thinking was also evident in how they approached defining the role's responsibilities.

Project Manager
Had a general phone interview. They asked for an elevator pitch and talked about my aspirations. We discussed my goals and current work responsibilities. They also gave general info about the company structure and asked about my qualifications and why I'd be a good fit.
- Can you give me your elevator pitch?
- What are your career aspirations?
Project Manager
I had a phone chat with a recruiter, and right after that, they set up a second interview which was a panel interview with 4 people. I followed up with the recruiter, and they said they'd keep me posted, but then I got totally ghosted. It was a really unprofessional process. I took time off work and really prepared for the interview. The least I expected was a standard rejection email, but they didn't even have the courtesy to do that.
- What's motivating your job search away from your current role?
