First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Kiewit Corporation.
Engineer
It was a pretty chill two-stage process. They weren't super focused on technical skills, more about getting a feel for your personality. No need to stress about it, honestly. Everything went smoothly and quickly. I had a 1-hour interview, and then two more rounds, and got an offer less than 3 weeks after applying.
- Can you describe what a typical day looks like for you?
Project Engineer
We had two interviews back-to-back with managers. One manager asked behavioral questions, and the other asked technical questions. This all happened one morning after we took a tour of the facilities.
- Can you explain how your past experience relates to this position?
Equipment Engineer
I had a quick phone screening about two weeks ago, and then they called me back the very next day for an interview. It was pretty short, only about 20 minutes. It was mostly standard questions, so just be ready for those. I ended up getting an offer right after.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What makes you want to work for this company?
- What are your thoughts on the responsibilities of an Equipment Engineer Intern?
