Bid Manager
It was a positive experience, they made me feel comfortable. They asked relevant questions and let me take my time to think of an answer. I was also informed about the process from the beginning, including the number of interviews and what happens next.
- What improvements would you suggest for the business?
Design Manager
I applied for the Graduate Role (Design Manager) online. After sending my CV, I was asked to do a one-way video interview. This involved recording myself answering questions about the company's values.
- Tell us about a time when you collaborated with a team.
- Tell us about when you set a goal to achieve something.
- Tell us about a time when you helped resolve the conflict.
Manager
This was the worst interview experience in over 20 years. There were two interviews where the interviewers were late and took phone calls. They didn't formally ask questions or describe the role. The feedback process was even worse, requiring me to chase them for a decision. They also didn't follow through with timelines and didn't respond to emails or texts. I would never apply to Kier again and wouldn't work for managers who disregard potential employees. I won't recommend Kier and will tell everyone to stay away. There are better companies. HR needs to coach their Senior Managers on interview techniques and communication.
- Regarding my availability, what is the onboarding process like?
- The onboarding process is slow, right?
