Staff Attorney
Had a screening interview with the recruiter to check if I met the basic qualifications. They asked a lot of questions about my experience and background, and also gave me a lot of information about the organization.
- Can you describe your experience to confirm you meet the necessary qualifications?
HR Staff
The interview process was quick but not consistent for everyone. It started with a screening, then a panel interview, and finally a meet-the-team session. It wasn't very transparent, and I wasn't sure about the timeline. It took a long time between applying and the first screening, but after that, things moved quickly.
- What would you miss the most about your previous organization?
Office Coordinator
It was a four-round interview process that took about six weeks. Each interview was about an hour long. You don't meet anyone you'd be directly working with until the final interview, and they ask a lot of the same questions. They said upfront there wouldn't be much training and the role would be very self-directed. While some might like that, it didn't feel like a supportive place, so I went with a better offer.
- Do you require any accommodations?
Social Services Coordinator
I got an email about an interview and I replied with my availability. But then I didn't hear back. I sent two follow-ups, and the response was just that the job was still open. Eventually, I got an email saying they went with someone else, and they thanked me for my time and said the team enjoyed getting to know me. It was super generic, and I never actually talked to anyone or started any interviews. Really unprofessional.
- They never got back to me to interview after the initial email asking for my availability.
